With no new models or updates planned, Chinese brand Foton’s Australian distributor, Ateco Automotive, will continue to sell the Tunland ute unchanged in 2016.
This year was a successful one for Foton, with sales of its 4×2 and 4×4 single- and dual-cab Tunland models more than doubling compared with the previous year, eclipsing 1000 sales in November.
The line-up currently comprises four variants priced from $22,490 driveaway to $30,990 driveaway.
All models are powered by a 120kW/360Nm 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel Cummins engine and distribute drive to either the rear or all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
