Audi Australiaâs most important new model in 2016 will be the all-new A4 sedan and A4 Avant wagon, revealed in June.
Styling for the new A4 represents an evolution of Audiâs familiar design language, with the 2016 model introducing even sharper lines at both ends.
A number of new technologies will feature, including adaptive LED headlights as standard and Matrix-beam LED headlights as an option.
The new range will hit Australia in sedan form first, in February, priced from $55,500 plus on-road costs. Models will include 1.4 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI petrol options, along with a 2.0 TDI diesel.
The A4 Avant wagon models will follow in March or April, while the hero S4 sedan and wagon, offering 260kW and 500Nm, will come to Australia in late 2016.

Audi Q7 e-tron â" late 2016
Audiâs growing e-tron range of electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) has expanded to include even the behemoth Q7 SUV.
Power in the Q7 e-tron is provided by a 3.0-litre diesel engine and an electric motor, which together deliver 275kW of power and 700Nm of torque.
The combination makes for a 0-100km/h time of 6.0 seconds, with fuel consumption listed at just 1.7L/100km.
The Q7 e-tron is will hit Australia late next year, at the top of the Q7 range.

Audi R8 â"Â Q2
The new-generation Audi R8, revealed in February, will make its Australian debut in the second quarter of 2016.
For this new era of R8, Audi has focused on a 10-cylinder package, offering its new supercar in R8 V10 and R8 V10 Plus forms.
In the âentryâ version, a 5.2-litre V10 provides 396kW and 540Nm, while the Plus model lifts that substantially, up to 449kW and 560Nm.
Both get new technologies, including cylinder-on-demand and a coasting mode for improved fuel efficiency, along with Audiâs advanced new Virtual Cockpit 12.3-inch instrument display.

Audi RS6 Avant Performance, RS7 Sportback Performance â"Â Q2
This pair of hotted-up Audi heroes was revealed in October, and Audi Australia has confirmed a second-quarter 2016 launch for both.
Power in the RS6 Avant wagon and RS7 Sportback is provided by an enhanced version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 found in the âregularâ RS version of both, with these new Performance specials upping power and torque by 33kW and 50Nm to a new 445kW and 750Nm.
Both claim a 0.2-second improvement on the 0-100km/h times of their counterparts, which means a very supercar-like 3.7-second sprint.
And, if youâre in a position to make a run at 200km/h, Audi claims youâll get there from standstill in 12.1 seconds.

Audi SQ5 TDI Plus â"Â Q2
September saw Audi add the now familiar âPlusâ badge to its diesel performance-focused SQ5 TDI SUV.
Tweaks to the SQ5âs 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel have brought a neat boost in outputs, growing 20kW and 50Nm to new 250kW and 700Nm levels.
As before, all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic are standard with the SQ5 TDI Plus.
The powered-up SUV made its European debut in October, and Audi Australia has confirmed we can expect it here in the second quarter of 2016.

Audi S8 Plus â" mid 2016
Joining the SQ5 in the Plus column will be a new version of the hero S8 sedan.
Driven by an enhanced version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that drives its regular sibling, the S8 Plus gains an extra 63kW and 50Nm for a colossal 445kW and 700Nm (750Nm in overboost mode).
Executives looking for a quick getaway from the boardroom can expect a 0-100km/h time of 3.8 seconds, bettering any pursuing S8 models by 0.3 seconds.
Watch for the S8 Plus to hit Australia around the middle of 2016.
