Infiniti Australia will open its first dealership in Perth in March, bringing the Japanese luxury brand and its expanding model line-up to customers west of the eastern seaboard for the first time.
WAâs first authorised Infiniti dealership will be positioned in Perthâs Osborne Park, the cityâs main automotive precinct. Customer service and technical support services are scheduled to commence in January, with sales starting from a brand new showroom two months later.
The Perth dealership, to be operated by the Barbagallo Group, will become Australiaâs fourth Infiniti dealership, joining centres in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Infiniti Australia managing director Jean-Philippe Roux says the appointment of Infiniti Centre Perth is an important milestone for the brand.
âPerth and the wider Western Australian market are very important for Infiniti and expanding our national retail network to include Australiaâs west coast has been one of our priorities,â Roux said.
âAnnouncing the establishment of Infiniti Centre Perth with one of Australiaâs most successful automotive retailers elevates our growth opportunity, especially when considering both the many all-new and updated Infiniti models heading to Australia from next year as well as the continued expansion of Australiaâs luxury car market, which is currently up 17 per cent compared to this time last year.â
Infiniti sales are up 26 per cent so far this year, albeit off a low base, with 455 vehicles sold to the end of October.
Next year promises to be a hugely significant one for the brand. The introduction of the updated Q70 sedan will get the ball rolling in January before three big launches in the second half of the year: the all-new Q30 hatchback in Q3, the all-new QX30 crossover in Q4, and the all-new Q60 coupe at the very end of the year.
