An off-road ready Kia Sorento concept car has been teased ahead of its debut at the SEMA show in November.
The new car is referred to as either the PacWest Adventure Sorento or the Sorento Trail Edition. Kia hasnât revealed much about the SEMA show car, expect that itâs fitted with a custom suspension setup and a snorkel intake system.
The Korean marque also says that the carâs custom paint job is âinspired by the lush forestsâ of the Pacific Northwest, which encompasses the mountains and woodlands that cover much of British Columbia in Canada, and the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho in the USA.
From the teaser image (above), we can see that the car also features wheel arch extensions, chunky off-road tyres, a blacked out grille and roof, and LED spotlights mounted above the bash plate, at the base of the A-pillars and on the roof rack.
Kia has also replaced the lower portion of the Sorentoâs front bumper with a new custom-made bash plate and nudge bar combination.
Reports elsewhere indicate that Kia will bring a range of customised vehicles to the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas, with this high-riding Sorento just one of the selection to be displayed.
