The limited edition Renault Clio Expression+ and Captur Expression+ variants are now available in Australia, boosting the value of the French brandâs city-sized hatch and SUV models.
At $21,390 plus on-road costs, the Clio Expression+ EDC (dual-clutch automatic) costs $1100 more than the Expression EDC on which itâs based, yet claims to add $2000 in extra equipment.
Compared with the Expression, the Expression+ adds auto headlights and wipers, electric front and rear windows with one-touch function for driver (Expression gets manual rear windows), electric folding mirrors, hands-free entry and push-button start, front centre armrest, and premium floor mats.
Additionally, an exterior trim pack adds a tailgate strip, side door protection and radiator grille inserts in black, blue or chrome, and is joined by one of three roof decals: Sports, Dots or Tri-colour.
At $27,090, the Renault Captur Expression+ EDC is likewise $1100 more than the Expression EDC on which itâs based, yet is said to add $3000 in bonus features.
Over the standard Expression, the Expression+ adds larger 17-inch alloy wheels, side steps, premium floor mats, weather shields for the front windows, and the choice of single- or two-tone metallic paint.
Stock is limited to just 100 Clio Expression+ models and 85 Captur Expression+ models.
Renault Australia managing director Justin Hocevar says the Expression+ duo shows that the brand is âworking hard to bring the most competitively specified and priced vehicles to the Australian marketâ.
