The limited edition Land Rover Defender Heritage and Adventure models will hit showrooms in the coming weeks, although almost every example has already been snapped up by eager buyers.

The Heritage version is a modern interpretation of the first pre-production Series I Land Rover from 1947. Just 2654 units will be offered globally.

There will be a few more Defenders making their way to Australia over the coming months, with a December production run to be the last of the current-generation model to be built for our market.
