A camouflaged Mercedes-Benz ML-Class has been spied winter testing, suggesting a facelifted version of the mid-size SUV could launch in early 2015.
Snapped by CarAdviceâs spy photographers while testing near the Arctic Circle, the facelifted Mercedes-Benz ML prototype wears heavy black camouflage on its front end disguising a new bonnet, bumper, single-bar grille and restyled headlights and LED daytime running lights.
A wider rear quarter panel can also be seen along with what appears to be a larger rear window aperture and revised tailgate-mounted spoiler.
Inside, the refreshed ML will receive updates to its infotainment equipment including a large dash-mounted screen and new COMAND controller located between front passengers. A new-look steering wheel is also set to join new door trims and detail finishers.
Engines are expected to mirror the current rangeâs petrol and diesel line-up, with changes limited to improved performance and efficiency, however a hybrid powerplant and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6-powered ML400 are both speculated.
The current third-generation Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, priced locally from $82,900, first launched globally in 2011.
