The Smart Fortwo edition cityflame, a new limited-number model from the Daimler derivative, has been revealed, presenting an eye-catching version of the two-seat city car.
With body panels in pearlescent flame yellow contrasted against a safety cell, door mirror caps, and 15-inch alloy wheels painted black, the Smart Fortwo edition cityflame has a visual impact that belies its humble size.
The yellow and black bumblebee theme is continued inside with exclusive black leather optic seats featuring yellow imitation leather inserts and yellow stitching, while a yellow/black two-section knee pad, yellow-stitched three-spoke leather sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, and unique âcityflameâ embroidered floor mats complete the special edition tweaks.
Limited to 2400 units and available with either a 52kW naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine or a 62kW turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, the Smart Fortwo edition cityflame is available in either coupe or cabrio guise as well as in an alternative black exterior finish.
With the special model due to reach dealers in Europe in April, Smart Australiaâs David McCarthy told CarAdvice the car is on the radar â" although not yet confirmed â" for local showrooms.
